Throughout the month of November, The brothers of Delta Kappa Phi undertook large-scale cleaning and preparation of our beloved house in anticipation of our recent Thanksgiving Open House. Painting, cleaning, scrubbing, remudding, and cleaning again was the focus of our efforts to ensure the property received the attention it deserves from top to bottom. Each brother, a few rushes, and even some alumni put in long hours to get the house to nothing less than perfection.
The result; An enjoyable afternoon spent with friends and loved ones over a spectacular meal which was spear-headed and prepared by Brother Tony Lenzi, with assistance from several other brothers . Brother Pro Consul Nolan Keough, the head behind all the accomplished projects, had this to say, “Open House was a great success; we had the best turn out of friends and family that I have seen in my time as an active in the house. It was awesome to hear all of the compliments on the appearance of the house after the hard work and dedication everyone put into it. I’m very proud that our efforts impressed all that were in attendance.” Family, friends, rushes, alumni and brothers, got together to look back on the fun times of the semester and for family members to explore the house we are so fortunate to call home. We’d like to extend our gratitude to all that attended and hope to see you again come this time next year. Thank you all and enjoy your holidays.
