UMASS Lowell hosted the annual DK alumni Hockey Game this past week. Although Umass Lowell lost in the last couple of minutes; I think I speak for all the brothers who came in saying we had a great night. Thank you to everyone that came and we look forward to the next one!24235D81-C6CD-4893-AFE1-CB3BFBFEB5818148448F-3FA2-4581-892B-7C48A6C9928FEDEF4A1C-6757-4E6F-A9B2-A70AE7BE7C10DD59EEB4-3930-4864-BEB9-7D214CE032CF4F8A723B-395A-4C89-8BF5-F9904A39385F26184EE4-18E3-4B7C-989E-8D7F9A940A04816D5E61-7035-40A7-A166-452706F76089E73475E0-AA31-4AF5-884D-1E49B89D2473EF743383-B384-49EB-BCA0-D2875A6C7C5D

delta_kappa_phiStarting off at college as a freshmen I was a very quiet kid with a small group of friends. On top of that I didn’t have many responsibilities and or something I could feel a-part of. I was okay at most sports but not good enough to be on any UML teams. Basically I wanted to find something I could fit in with and meet new friends while doing it. That’s where Delta Kappa Phi Fraternity “The Big Red House” came in, located on 9 Mount Hope st. in Lowell (A 5 min walk from East Campus). Being a brother only a year now I’ve become close with genuinely great people and on top of that learned how to embody the “work hard play hard” mentality. Delta Kappa phi has changed my life in so many positive ways thus far as a Umass Lowell student. I look forward to the endless great memories and learning experiences that I will gain from this fraternity.

Please, if you’re interested in joining Delta Kappa Phi Fraternity contact our rush chairman Ethan Cohodas:

Dk Ski Trip

As the school workload begins to pick back up since spring break, many brothers are looking back to the short but sweet vacation they had. Here’s a look back at what some of the brothers were up too.

Brothers Leo Joas, Kellen Jordan, and Matt Grassett had a blast up at Crotched Mountain. Pictured above is Brother Leo Joas enjoying the view.

DK Study

Brothers have been working hard this semester and have gotten right back into the swing of things, embodying the work hard, play hard mentality that every Deke has. With only a few weeks left in the semester Brothers are hitting the books, so that they will be able to fully enjoy their summer.

Kellen Jordan Our brother of the month for April is Kellen Jordan. Kellen is a relatively new member of Delta Kappa Phi. Kellen is currently majoring in Electric Engineering. For sports, he enjoys skiing. During the summer Kellen is a Bio Robotics intern at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh PA. Lastly, during his free time he likes to play the guitar. Kellen works hard everyday to better himself as a student at Umass Lowell and a brother of Delta Kappa Phi.
